Capilano opened in the Fall of 1999, exciting renovations took place and we are very proud of the changes that have occurred. Visit us to explore the exciting selection on perennials, bedding plants, trees, and shrubs. We carry a great variety of plants that are especially suited to the needs of the gardeners on the North Shore.

The Capilano garden centre is situated on the corner of Marine Drive and Bewicke in North Vancouver, we have a 1/2 acre of beauty to meander through. The bedding plant area is under cover, this keeps you dry and comfortable and keeps the plants looking their best, because quality is a top priority.

We carry a complete line of fertilizers, tools, garden seeds and bulbs. Inventory is always changing with each season making each visit to the Capilano Garden Centre a different experience. We are proud to offer the best selection of bulbs on the North Shore with very competitive pricing.

Whether planting a single Japanese maple tree or seriously collecting Japanese maples, our staff can help. With hundreds of varieties of Japanese maples, we're a treasure trove of information dealing with care, maintenance, placement and characteristics of the many different Japanese maples available.

Visit the pond area and see our collection of water plants - you'll also find everything needed to make your own pond from liners to pumps, filters and even fish food.

Do stop in for a visit, we are happy to assist you in choosing your plants, diagnosing any plant problems, and answering all of your gardening questions. We have an excellent team of very knowledgeable staff willing to help you with any question ranging from bulbs to all your landscape needs. Remember we do deliver for a small fee and we will also pot any plant for no charge at the garden centre if you buy both the plant and the pot from our garden centre. Our Landscape Design Division provides our customers with a professional landscape planning service. The office is located in the Mandeville store but we are pleased to serve all our stores’ communities. We can arrange the service that suits your needs - an at home consultation, complete design service, installations or project management.
