Located in scenic Edgemont Village, North Vancouver at the corner of Woodbine Drive and Highland Blvd, this GardenWorks location opened in March of 1996, in what was originally the Lonsdale Lumber store built in 1953. It boasts a "great room" that is now full of garden seeds, bulbs, fertilizers, garden tools, accessories (some for children) and plant containers.

Plant containers are a specialty at this store; we carry terra cotta and ceramic from Italy, Malaysia, China and Vietnam, in a wide range of colours and styles. You will find the perfect container for an indoor tropical plant, spring bulbs, summer and/or fall flowers, or a beautiful specimen Japanese maple. Buy a plant and a pot at our store and we will gladly repot it for you.

Our small, but well-stocked nursery carries a carefully selected range of trees and shrubs. We also carry a wide selection of annuals, vines and perennials for all garden types. As a part of our selection we carry a broad range of shade loving perennials and shrubs that grow well beneath the large evergreens on the North Shore.

There is a tropical plant room that houses an interesting array of indoor plants including exotic orchids, as well as an expanded range of giftware and greeting cards. Come and browse for just the right hostess gift, birthday, anniversary, or house warming present.

Many of our local customers walk to the garden centre, buy their items and return later to pick-up their purchases. There is street parking available as well as parking at the back of the store; go down the back alley accessed from either from Queens Avenue or Highland Blvd.

Our Landscape Design Division provides our customers with a professional landscape planning service. The office is located in the Mandeville store but we are pleased to serve all our stores’ communities. We can arrange the service that suits your needs - an at home consultation, complete design service, installations or project management.
