Our Home Décor department carries a wide array of merchandise that will not only accent our guest’s gardens but contain their passion for gardening with our fantastic selection of pottery.
We are looking for a full-time, enthusiastic individual who is a real self starter and highly motivated to supervise the Home Décor team at our Burnaby location at 6250 Lougheed Highway.
Core Responsibilities include:
· Continue to build our home décor business
· Hiring, directing, managing and motivating our home décor team to ensure guest service is the highest priority and that tasks are being competed in an efficient and timely manner.
· Working closely with home decor and seasonal buyer, Carol Boyce Nelson and Visual Merchandise Manager, Michelle Tornai.
· Working together with the Burnaby store management team
· Financial understanding of the retail business including working with sales budgets, gross profit margins & wage cost management.
· Effective merchandising of new and existing product
· Store opening and closing responsibilities
Previous retail experience and excellent selling and communication skills is required.
