1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup margarine
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cup butterscotch (or chocolate) chips
3 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup fine coconut
Combine sugar, margarine and milk in saucepan.
Bring to a boil and boil hard for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in chips till smooth.
Stir in oats and coconut.
Drop by tablespoons on cookie sheet.
Chill till firm. Keep refrigerated.
