Oven at 375 deg. F
1 cup sugar
1 cup margarine, softened
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup orange juice concentrate, thawed–reserve 3 tbsp
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup golden raisins
1 tbsp water
Usual method: Mix margarine with sugar; add eggs.
In separate bowl mix flour, baking soda and salt. Add to previous mixture, alternately with orange juice.
Stir in pecans and raisins.
Drop by walnut-sized spoonfuls on prepared cookie sheets.
Bake 7 to 11 minutes till lightly browning.
Mix reserved orange juice and water; brush over cookies then sprinkle with sugar.
