Heat oven to 350 deg. F
3/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup granola
1 cup dried blueberries or cranberries
1 cup white chocolate chips
optional-3/4 cup chopped walnuts
Cream butter and sugar together. Stir in corn syrup, egg and vanilla. In separate bowl mix flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt.
Stir in butter mix, then add granola and mix well.
Fold in fruit and chocolate chips (and walnuts if desired).
Line baking sheets with parchment.
Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto prepared sheets.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Let sit for two minutes before removing to wire racks.
