WHEN TO USE: • Recommended for use in the fall when planting bulbs, supplemented by an equal amount of GARDENWORKS Bone Meal. • Fertilize with GARDENWORKS Bulb Food again in the spring when bulbs start to come up. HOW TO USE: DIG • Either dig holes for each bulb using a bulb planter, or prepare a bed for a cluster of bulbs. (Choose an area with a well-draining soil.) • GARDENWORKS Bulb Food can be used on entire planting bed before planting, using 2kg per 13 m2 , or in individual planting holes using 1 small handful (30 g) per hole. Cover with 2.5 cm (1”) of soil before adding bulbs. • Plant bulbs with pointed ends up. Refer to the bulb planting instructions for correct depth and distance apart. • Cover with soil & water well. FEED • For feeding established bulbs, early each spring, spread 2 kg per 10 m2 & incorporate lightly into the soil. Water thoroughly. It's advisable to give your bulbs repeat applications of Bulb Food. Spread 1 kg per 10 m2 each month from early spring until the foliage turns yellow. Water well. • Use when planting your late spring & summer flowering tubers, corms & rhizomes. Add to the soil before planting. using 2 kg per 13 m2
