Cashier Lead – Oak Bay

Our cash team acts as our company’s final touch point with our guests and plays an integral role in the overall guest experience. We are looking for a passionate, ‘people person’ to take a lead role overseeing our daily cash operations. This is a F/T position (40 hrs per week); wage range ($20.00 - $21.00/hr).

Overview:

  • Supporting the GARDENWORKS Brand by providing outstanding service to our guests•
  • Managing the day-to-day functions of the cash department
  • Mentoring new team members on POS System operation, guest service strategies, and sales goals
  • Reconciling cash drawers, ensuring accuracy, and resolving any discrepancies that may arise
  • Working with our POS systems support team, communicating pricing and scanning errors to ensure accurate sales reporting
  • Assist the Store Management team with various administrative functions including write off tracking and stock transfers
