Assistant Store Manager - Saanich

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on leader to support daily operations, inspire our store team, and help create outstanding guest experiences. This role is ideal for a people-focused retail leader who is passionate about what we do, enjoys working collaboratively, and shares our commitment to our company vision while supporting financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Leadership

• Support the Store Manager with day-to-day store operations
• Supervise, train, coach, and motivate team members
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace by listening, encouraging open communication, and seeking solutions together
• Assist with scheduling and staff coverage

Guest Experience

• Deliver warm, knowledgeable, and welcoming service to every guest
• Resolve guest concerns with care and professionalism
• Assist guests with product selection, plant care advice, and general inquiries
• Lead by example on the sales floor

Merchandising & Inventory

• Support merchandising standards
• Assist with inventory management, receiving shipments, and stock organization
• Help maintain plant health, quality, and presentation throughout the store

Sales & Performance

• Support sales goals and promotional initiatives
• Monitor store performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure company’s policies and procedures are followed
• Utilize Microsoft Office & POS system for sales reporting and analysis

Other Requirements

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends, and holidays
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably in various weather conditions

Job Type & Compensation

• Full-time, Salaried Position, $60K – 65K per year
