GARDENWORKS Lawn Seed Blends

While regular seed mixes use commodity species grown for bulk quantity and not reliable quality, our Great GARDENWORKS Seed is selected from the best top performing named varieties available.

Our seed varieties are grown in the distinguished Willamette Valley Oregon, the grass seed capital of the world. These unique varieties are tested in the National Turfgrass Evaluation Program where they are rated against hundreds of other varieties for qualities such as colour, density, uniformity, texture, and disease or environmental stress such as heat, cold and drought tolerances.

Our selections are chosen from the leading varieties proven over several years of evaluation. Those varieties are then grown under the Oregon Blue Tag Quality certification program where purity, germination and weed-free standards are strictly measured and enforced.

These seeds are mixed and packaged in a dedicated handling system specially built to operate under strict quality control standards. This ensures you get pure, clean, and true to type seed, meeting the specific attributes of the grass mix type you have chosen for your lawn.

• Great for patching thin or bare areas
• Ideal for overseeding
• Same seeding rate whether patching, overseeding or starting a new lawn
