Indigenous Tea Blending Workshop
Saturday, October 17 @ 2PM
Please note: your ticket is valid only at GARDENWORKS North Shore
Join Char Seward (Squamish Nation) and Jared Van Somer (Kwadacha Nation) for a workshop about the plants that have fed and cared for Indigenous peoples on these lands since time immemorial.
Together we'll get to know a few traditional plants, how they've been gathered and prepared for food, healing and tea, and the responsibilities that come with harvesting them.
This workshop is an invitation to see local plants in a new light, understand their place in traditional food systems, and think about how we can care for them in our own communities. All are welcome and no experience is needed.
Tea and Bannock are included with your ticket, so come ready to sip, visit and learn together.
This workshop is a collaboration between GARDENWORKS and our hosts.
After Eventbrite fees, all proceeds go to the hosts.
Starting at $39.99 + tax per participant. Please pre-register via Eventbrite
Please note Eventbrite advertises workshops inclusive of tax.
